Your Midcoast Maine Farmhouse Awaits

Set on eleven private acres of spruce forest and open field, Three Sisters Farm is a 3,200-square-foot 1850s farmhouse that sleeps 10–11 across five bedrooms, with two full kitchens, two living rooms, and a barn converted into a yoga and Pilates studio with a Peloton. A short third-mile walk leads to a pristine tidal cove — ideal for kayaking, paddleboarding, or simply keeping the rhythm of coastal life. There is room enough that different generations, and different moods, can each find their own corner. It makes a true four-season base for the Midcoast.

The farmhouse has space designed for both connection and quiet:

–     Two fully stocked kitchens with commercial-grade ranges — built for reunions, holidays, & lobster feasts.

–     Two living rooms, one with a gas fireplace for chilly nights.

–     A dining room that seats ten, for proper sit-down meals.

–     A screened porch with a Smart TV, for lazy mornings and movie nights.

–     An outdoor terrace with grill, dining, and lounge chairs.

–     A wood-fired hot tub and firepit, unforgettable under the stars.

–     A fenced yard with mature plantings — safe for children, easy for adults.

From marshmallows around the fire to an afternoon on the porch swing, the farm invites you to slow down.

Where You’ll Sleep

With five bedrooms, the farmhouse sleeps 10–11 comfortably.

–     Primary suite: king bed, en suite bath, private workspace.

–     Adjacent nursery room: twin bed and crib (walk-through to the primary).

–     Two upstairs guest rooms: one queen; one queen with a twin trundle. These share a large bath with a clawfoot tub.

–     Main-floor bedroom: queen with a nearby half bath — ideal for grandparents or anyone who prefers fewer stairs.

Note  Both staircases are original and steeper than modern builds, especially the one to the primary suite.

Activities & Games

The attached barn is always a favorite: ping-pong and a classic barn swing over the fields, cornhole and outdoor games, and an upstairs yoga / Pilates / Peloton studio. For outdoor adventure we provide kayaks, paddleboards, and a canoe (with life jackets), bikes for adults and kids, and open fields for play.

Good to Know

–     Guests have full, private use of the farm and its eleven acres. The one exception: the old boat barn across the road isn’t structurally sound and is off-limits.

–     Traveling with little ones is easy — crib, high chair, two Pack ’n Plays, baby gates, a stroller, children’s dishes, and a generous supply of toys, blocks, and books.

–     Housekeeping is available for longer stays, and we’re happy to arrange fresh Maine lobster delivered to the door.
